The Bit-perfect row is the app's own verdict on the stream you are playing rather than a switch you flip, and it reads no whenever the path cannot be verified end to end.

Is there a subscription?
No. Vesari Stylus is a one-time purchase. The Free tier plays your own library forever; Pro is a one-time payment and Lifetime is a one-time payment. There is no recurring fee, ever.
How do you stay in business on a one-time fee?
Pro owners pay once per major version they choose to take, so each new major version funds the next. Lifetime buyers pay once and never again; Lifetime is priced to cover the versions that follow, not just this one. And whatever happens to us, your music keeps playing: playback is never gated in any state, and your files and tags live on your own drives. Paid features check in with our licence server from time to time; if those checks cannot get through for 30 days, paid features pause until they can, and playback carries on regardless. Using the app offline, and what reconnect means explains exactly what happens.
What is free, and what is paid?
Free plays your own library forever, uncapped - playback is never gated or ad-supported. Pro unlocks the librarian power tools, uncapped: Super-Tag, Library Health bulk-fix, de-dup, the bulk tag editor, the ReplayGain scanner, saveable rediscovery mixes and unlimited CD ripping. Lifetime adds the DSP Rack and premium output, plus every future version free. Do I need an account?
No. There is no account and no sign-in, ever. The app runs on your PC and your library stays on your own drives, and nothing about what you play leaves them on its own. The app does make a few small outbound calls, including an update check on launch and, on a paid copy, a licence check about once a week; Privacy: no account, no tracking lists every one it makes on its own.
What music formats does it play?
The common lossless and lossy formats, including FLAC, WAV, ALAC, MP3 and AAC, with gapless playback and ReplayGain.
Does it work with a NAS?
Yes. Point it at your network drives, and you can stream your own library to your phone from your NAS using any OpenSubsonic app.
Can it rip my CDs?
Yes. RipCore does secure, bit-accurate, independently verifiable CD ripping, with a rip log you can check yourself.
What about the audio output?
WASAPI Exclusive gives a clean, direct route to your DAC that bypasses the Windows mixer and its resampler. ASIO output is planned and is not in the current build. DSP Rack adds parametric EQ, crossfeed and a signal path you can see.
