• The library tools, as the product. Auto-tagging through MusicBrainz and AcoustID, Library Health for duplicates and malformed files, bulk tag editing and rename patterns, and CD ripping with a rip log you can check. No components to source, and nothing to re-fix after an update.
• It looks finished on install. There's no layout to build before you can browse your music.
• Remote listening, without a plugin chain. Stream to your phone from your own machine through any OpenSubsonic app, on every tier, uncapped.
• An honest signal path. The app shows what happened to your audio between the file and the device, and says so plainly rather than implying more than it did.

What the free tier really gives you

You're comparing against free software, so here's the line, precisely:

• Playback is never capped. Your whole library, forever, no ads, no account, no tracking.
• Remote streaming isn't capped either.
• The power tools come with a free allowance rather than being walled off, and those allowances are one-time totals per machine rather than something that refreshes. What the free allowance covers lists every figure.

If that still sounds worse than free, it might well be, for you. That's a fair conclusion, and we'd rather you reached it here than after paying.
