Install Vesari Stylus & first run
Getting Vesari Stylus running takes a few minutes: download the installer, click past one harmless Windows notice, and open the app. There's no account and no sign-up - just install and go.
Install it
- Download the Vesari Stylus installer for Windows.
- Double-click the downloaded file to start the installer.
- Follow the prompts, let it finish, then open Vesari Stylus.
That's the whole install. You don't create an account, enter an email, or sign in - Vesari Stylus is a one-time purchase that runs entirely on your own PC.
If Windows shows a blue "Windows protected your PC" box
You may see a SmartScreen notice mentioning an "unrecognized app" or "unknown publisher." This is normal for a newer app and doesn't mean anything is wrong - Windows shows it until an app has been downloaded enough times to build up a reputation.
To continue:
- Click More info in the box.
- Click Run anyway.
The installer then carries on as usual. Running anyway is safe.
First launch
Open Vesari Stylus from your Start menu or desktop shortcut. It opens straight to the main window - no login screen, no setup wizard, nothing to configure first. Your settings and library stay on your PC; Vesari Stylus doesn't send usage data anywhere.
Everything plays straight away, including the surround formats. DTS, AC-3, EAC-3 and TrueHD use a decoder that ships inside the app, so there is nothing extra to download and nothing to set up. If a surround track ever turns up silent, see Checking the bundled surround decoder.
The first thing to do: add your music
An empty library is the one thing worth fixing straight away. Point Vesari Stylus at the folders where your music lives, and it will scan them and build your library.
